At the moment, she’s interested in examining the generative spaciousness that emerges from being with  the unknown and the unseeable.

In 2019, Charmaine and writer Effie Efthymiadi initiated ONEIRIC SPACE, an ever-evolving research practice exploring the interplay between dreams and waking life at an individual and collective level. Through conversations, collaborations, and publishing experiments across disciplines, the project reflects on the multiplicity of ways to view, understand, and engage with dreams and dreaming. Currently, it consists of a newsletter, gatherings, and an online interview archive. Previously, Charmaine was a fellow at Künstlerdorf Schöppingen and an artist-in-residence at Muzeum Susch.
